Each spoke depicts an interrelated set of tasks that interact with the life forces affecting your life, including: The wheel is a pictorial representation of wellness. In response, they created a tool called The Wheel of Wellness to help achieve a life defined by optimal health and wellbeing, “ in which body, mind, and spirit are integrated by the individual to live more fully within the human and natural community” (Myers et al., 2000). They suggested an important shift in emphasis, from a disease and illness model to one of wellness and health. In 2000, psychologists Jane Myers, Thomas Sweeney, and Melvin Witmer were concerned about deaths occurring in the U.S. The Global Wellness Institute (n.d.) describes it as “ the active pursuit of activities, choices, and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health.” Wheel of Wellness Wellness is about maintaining mental and physical fitness and having enough energy to meet occupational and personal commitments. The Mayo Clinic describes burnout as physical and mental exhaustion, often associated with a loss of identity and the sense that we are not accomplishing anything. Irritability, drinking to feel better, trouble sleeping, headaches, and a lack of energy are all early signs that you are heading toward a meltdown (Salvagioni et al., 2017). We have all experienced similar times in our lives, and burnout is real. Managing her two children, setting up a new business, learning additional skills, and keeping up with her mortgage repayments were proving to be too much. Thankfully, the cause was not an underlying physical condition instead, it was behavioral. When Tess Kearns began to forget familiar faces and was only able to manage her daily activities with a to-do list – which she was continually losing – she knew that something was wrong.

Second, my wife and I used to play a lot (when we got married many decades ago, the first piece of furniture we bought for our living room was a ping pong table) and were pretty decent, so it's difficult to play with inexperienced players. First, I've been pretty active over the years and have paid the price (torn rotator cuff, knees scoped, ruptured tendons, broken bones, etc.) so I can't play that long. Well it's not that ping pong has lost its appeal however, we have two problems with ping pong. Will lose it's appeal just like ping pong and takes up a lot of space To summarize.thoughts on Game Room Guys, thoughts on other dealers, thoughts on specific models and features are all appreciated Anyhow, there seem to be a number of models with very little differences so any advice on specific models and mfgs as well as features would be greatly appreciated. We don't want all the laser lights and sounds although overhead scoring would be nice and black light might be fun to have. It's hard to tell if either one is better than the other. It appears that Gold Standard/Shelti and Valley Dynamo build the best tables. The final question is any recommendations for specific tables. Second part is thoughts and advice regarding other dealers you would recommend. Since Game Room Guys sells a variety of machines including pinball, I thought some on here might have had dealings with them. I would prefer to support someone in the business if possible. Game Room Guys seem to be one of the larger arcade/game-focused dealers (as opposed to Amazon, Walmart, etc.). I recognize depreciation is a bear, but finding a good table locally seems unlikely, so we are looking at buying a new table. We have a ping pong table in our gameroom that gets no play, so we have decided to replace it with an air hockey table. I have no idea where I should post this so, if I'll rely on the mods to move if appropriate. Also, Federal Pacific, Wadsworth, and Zinsco circuit breaker would develop arthritis and allow a circuit to carry 150% to 300% of its rating. Among them were cheap steel terminals in 69 cent outlets, not cleaning off the aluminum oxide, and so forth. In fact, it takes less heat to weld steel than to weld copper.Ī lot of "aluminum" wiring failures were later determined to be caused by something else and it turned out that there were other factors that caused a lot of copper wiring failures. This is because it takes about 6 times as much heat to weld copper than aluminum. About the only welding method that works on copper is exothermic welding which would not work for an underground cable. If you want to play around you could splice aluminum conductor using electroslag welding but that would really only work on transmission conductor.Ĭopper is much harder to weld than aluminum which is one reason why I do not like knee jerk prejudice against aluminum wire. Since aluminum is easier to weld I would shy away from copper. In fact, I would not consider any connection method for this wire size other than welding. You can get aluminum lugs that are intended to be tungsten inert gas welded to the end of ACSR transmission conductor. You also need to consider that with a 1,000 KCM conductor you will have a hard time getting more than about 3/4 of the wire strands to conduct unless the connection is welded. About the only real difference is spacing between wires and open ( air insulated ) busbars. With the advances in SF6 switchgear, insulators, and solid dielectric cables, you can often run a 138 KV or 161 KV circuit for less money than 69 KV. Is your 69 KV ring bus confined to just this campus or does it serve other customers? Ohio Edison has replaced some 69 KV primary 7,200Y12,470 volt secondary distribution substations with 138 KV primary substations. If you buildings are fed with 2,400Y4,160 volt to 19,920Y34,500 circuits, you might want to think about eliminating the 69 KV level. What is your next lower voltage level? This seems to be an awfully high voltage for feeding individual buildings. RE: 69kv Cable Underground cgrodzinski (Electrical) 2 May 05 15:51 This is not a cost effective for this type of application. Has anyone used power trench for an application like this. Take advantage of the provision in the NEC provision to size the cable under “engineering supervision” statement and other similar provision. NOTE: Even though this voltage is not directly included in the table provided in the NEC, you probably will be in the jurisdiction of local electrical inspector. For US cables are often specified according to IEEE, ICEA (Insulated Cable Engineers Association, Inc.): or AEIC (Association of Edison Illuminating Companies): CS7-93 Specifications for cross-linked polyethylene insulated shielded power cables rated 69 through 138 kV. What standard would provide information on this as this voltage is outside the scope of the NEC. Therefore, concrete encase may be a suitable option to reconsider in the design since may provide the required mechanical protection and safety requirement of the campus population. For colleges campus with significant new constructions planed, the cable should be designed in a safe and high level of continuity. However, direct burial cables are recommended for low density areas and low construction rates. At first thought, I would use duct bank, but this will require several splice points since that size cable is limited by reel size and lots of manholes.įor this application appear that cable length is not the limiting factor. The new buildings will support over 70 local, family-owned businesses, including a variety of amenities.I have to run about a mile of 69kv 1000MCM cable underground on a college campus. To win, the player that last successfully pushes a block from the Giant Jenga wins the game, if someone else that follows unsuccessfully tries to push a block out. A player can only remove a block from below the topmost level of the Giant Jenga tower. Scoring SystemĪ player can only touch the Giant Jenga blocks with one hand to remove a block. If you continue with the same players, the person that caused the tower to fall is the one to rebuild the tower and gets to go first. You can then pick new players or continue with the same players. When the tower falls, this is the end of the round. You continue to push or slide Giant Jenga blocks from the tower by alternating player turns until someone causes the Giant Jenga tower to fall. Wait 10 to 20 seconds to see if the tower will fall. The next person will push or slide another block from any level of the tower that is below the very top level and they also place the pushed block on the top level of the Giant Jenga tower. You can’t push a block from the top of the Giant Jenga tower. Once you decide who goes first, player one slides or pushes a block from any level of the tower that is below the very top level and places it on the top level of the Giant Jenga tower. You can decide who first gets to build the tower by drawing straws or by a flip of the coin. This is normally determined by whoever built the Giant Jenga tower.
